A Bat

Today about 4 my mom and I left the house to get some home-made root beer that one of our neighbors made. As i was about to turn the corner of our house I noticed something black that was on Colin’s bug cage. As I looked more carefully I saw that it was a baby bat. My mom took a couple of pictures as I held the cage, I then tried putting the cage close to the car port roof tiles but it would not get close enough for the bat to crawl in. After some improvising my mom and I deseeded to put the baby bat onto some news paper because we could get it closer. It worked and as soon as I got the paper close to the hole were another bat was it crawled right in and there was a lot of chatting going on between the bats for a while after that. And that is how I saved a bat, in my opinion anyways.

Being Cut and the I-Journey

Hi again it’s me, I have unfortunately been cut from the Varsity Swim Team. I was found this out when my Aquatics/Heath teacher who is the Swim Coach told me on Tuesday before Aquatics class. In other news I have a project in English 2, we have to do an I-Journey. The I-Journey is a first person narrative in which you have to discovery something about yourself. I have chosen to do my I-Journey about a rat in Italy that discovers that it is important to do things that will help the rest of the colony and not just his friends. He also has to help his colony find a new place to live and to get food along the way. My parents are gong to have a good night tonight because they are going to the Marine Corps Ball and dance the night away.

Frankfurt, Germany

After a long wait we have finally received information to where my family and I will be moving to next year. Apparently the State Department thinks that we should move to Frankfurt, Germany. I think that this would be a pretty cool place to move to, I can see snow, I can still sail, and one of the largest car shows in the world is held there, and hey it’s in Europe. I personally want to use these things to convince relatives to visit me while I am in Germany. I think that I will like this post a little more that the one I am presently at because I will be able to do more there; they have an active teen program which means they have activities especially for teens like me.

Halloween

M y Halloween has been fairly good day bringing in a good stash of candy. When we went to the American Club for a trunk or treat I went with my friend Riley and he went as a hippie and I went as a Cowboy! However when we went trick or treating in the compound I went in my swim suit with my Speedos underneath, after about 2 cups of Coca-Cola and a bunch of candy I took off my swim suit so I was just in my Speedos and I started spinning them around my head like a stripper but other that that it was a good Halloween.

October Break And Birthdays

Sorry that I have not posted in a long time, I was just really busy and a little bit lazy but my parents are making me post entries again. Right now I am having my October break that lasts a week along with Friday and Thursday of last week because of a Muslim holiday, no matter my parents had to see that I went to school and not sleep in and have a relaxing break like I planed. They signed me up for a Pre-SAT course from 8-11 am each morning yesterday, today, and tomorrow and then on Saturday I get to take the 2 hour long Pre-SAT. In other news it is my baby brother Grayson’s birthday tomorrow and the day after that it will be my Aunt Patrize’s birthday.

Another Sleepover

I am once again at Geoff's and my friends are having fun on his WII at the moment however Riley is here instead of Nathan. Nathan was too tired to come over this time so we left with out him. we are having fun with out him but it would be better if he was here. this will probably one of the last sleepovers because he is leaving soon. I will miss him when he is gone because he is a good friend. It will be weird knowing that he is somewhere half way around the world.

Back to School

I have just finished my first two days of school and I have now met all seven of my teachers. On the first day back to school I got to be awakened by English 2 taught by Mr. Hara who was one of my project week advisers. Next I had Geography which was taught by Ms. Hornchen and I learned that geography is not just maps and atlases, but has to do also with human geography such as culture and trade. After that I had my honor pass which being the first day I had no homework to do so I helped my former P.E. teacher to play his viola. After that I had Aquatics with Mr. Clark, there I will learn how to kayak, snorkel, and towards the end of the semester I will go on a mandatory fieldtrip. Then I went home to sleep and return to school the next day. The next day I started out the day with Concert Strings which is taught by Dr. Eng who has an unusual personality. I then moved on to Bio Chore which also taught by a Dr. but instead of Dr. Eng it is Dr. Piers is down in the basement of the science module. After that I went to Health after an hour long break for a welcome back barbecue, and guess who taught that, none other than Mr. Clark. Finally I had Advanced Algebra with Ms. Kelly and after that class I was glad that it was a Friday because I was tired and ready to sleep.

Sleep Over At Geiff's

I just got back from a sleep over at Geiff’s house. He is one of my friends who is unfortunately leaving in about two weeks. My friend Nathan and I went with Geiff to Subtitles, a movie place in Dharmawangsa Square. We all then proceeded to Geiff’s house to hang out and play computer games. I had a bottle of Red Fanta that I shared with Geiff’s younger brother Chris. Towards the end of our stay over there Chris became sleepy from the night before and became grumpy and put everyone in a bad mood. However this did not stop anyone from ignoring him and continuing to have fun.

A Great Weekend

This weekend I went to the Tanjung Lesung Sailing Club with my Aunt Teri. I have come to the conclusion that my mom is bad luck when it comes to sailing, the first time I took her out sailing I flipped the boat for the first time and now that I had finally regained her trust I took her out in the sail boat and we start to get out and the wind dies on us. I had to be towed in for the first time so I have decided that I won’t be taking my mom out sailing anymore. Me and my Aunt Teri were supposed to go the Thousand Islands to go sailing to day but it did not work out so we just hung out.

Home Again

Me again, I got back in Indonesia 2 days ago. My Aunt Teri, who flew in with us, is here to visit for about 2 weeks. I am truly happy to be able to sleep in my bed with my comforters and my cat. I also like to sit on my couch and watch my awesome flat screen TV. I can’t wait to see all my friends and catch up on what they each did this summer!

Back from grandparents

I am finally back from my grandparent's house and unfortunately I will not see them for another year. I had fun over there and overall I am glad that I chose to go there instead of my dad's house. I leave tomorrow to go back to Indonesia and I have to wake up at 5 am, it sucks!!! I will write again when I get to a computer with internet again.

Fishing and a Visit

When my Uncle Ruben picked my up from my grandparent's house to tale me bay fishing it was about 12:00. We started our trip down to Port Aranses, Texas. It took us about three hours to get there and we had about a hour to spare. We went to the store to get our tickets early and we then got in line about thirty minutes later. The boat took us out to the bay at 6:00 p.m. and we stopped and the end of a jetty to the left. We fished for about four hours at the same place and then we headed bacj to the docks. I cought about 15 flatheads and i hade a lot of fun. Two days ago my dad came by to see me after I called him and told him to visit. My sister Estrella was very loud and she screemed a lot and gave everyone a headache. My dad plans on picking me up for the weekend and I should have a lot of fun over there.

Grandparents

I am at my Tia Ria's (my crazy aunt's who is awsome) house right now and I've been staying at my grandparent's house for the last couple of days. It is pretty awsome over here in Seguin, Texas there is no polution like there is in Jakarta. It's pretty laid back here and I even get paid when I help around the house unlike in Jakarta. I look forward to going fishing at the coast with my Uncle Ruben this upcoming Wednesday.

Summer!

Summer! It’s a great holiday, one of the best in the whole year. I am officially a sophomore! Yah I know it is great to have survived the first year of high school. After 3 days of no school because of exams I went back to say goodbye to friends and to get my grades. Each class was only 15 minutes long which I thought was great. I had pretty good grades in all of my classes and I got an A (94%) on my Science exam and my teacher was proud. The funny thing was it only took me 30 minutes to complete because it was easy and multiple choice, after finishing it I slept. After all my classes were finished around (10:30) everyone went to the End of Year Assembly. It was pretty funny, and it made me realize how soon I would be with out some of my friends such as Brooke and Caitlin. Well I am off for summer I will write later!
